This four-part training manual delivers in-depth instruction on the core pillars of HVAC system performance:
Airflow: Covers airflow fundamentals, measuring tools, CFM requirements, blower performance, sensible heat ratios, and proper airflow verification.
Critical Charging: Reviews the three charging methods: weight, system superheat, and condenser subcooling. This section provides examples of calculating total system charge based on line size and provides an easy method to verify that a system is operating at its rated capacity.
Psychrometrics: Introduces the psychrometric chart and calculating the thermodynamic properties of air.
