CO2 as a Refrigerant

Presented by:   Rusty Walker

Monday, March 25 from 4:00 PM until 5:15 PM, Napa CD

Participants will receive a quick historical overview of the use of CO2 as a refrigerant, highlighting the re-emergence of CO2 as a viable refrigerant is a pivotal development that has significant implications for the training of technicians in the refrigeration industry. With the phasing out of HFCs and HFOs, which have high global warming potential (GWP), CO2 is emerging as one of the most promising alternatives. Our course aims to equip educators with comprehensive CO2 information that they can bring back to their training environments and pass along to the next generation of technicians. Educators will learn best practices and safety measures necessary when working with CO2 to ensure the well-being of technicians and the environment. Through this comprehensive training, we strive to empower educators to equip their students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the refrigeration industry, ensuring a sustainable and environmentally conscious approach to their work.
