Training Manual
This training manual addresses:
- Carbon dioxide formation and release
- Carbon monoxide generation
- Thermal heat transfer
- Flame temperature
The manual includes steps and
procedures to increase efficiency and
reduce emissions. Readers should
expect to increase their knowledge of
the combustion process and combustion
control. Topics such as the dynamics of
carbon dioxide production, the release
of heat, and the oxygen relationship are
discussed.
Instructor Resource CD
Instructor resource media includes:
-
PPT - PowerPoint that correlates
directly with the training manual.
Each slide within the presentation
contains speaker notes that are
designed to aid the instructor
through the presentation and

Certification
To aid those in demonstrating their
knowledge of the materials there are
two certifications offered: Employment
Ready and Professional Level
certifications. These 50 question exams
cover building pressure general
knowledge, building pressure
measurements, static pressure,
pressure imbalances and combustion
appliance zone testing.
