Exploring the differences between R-410A and R-454B

This presentation will explore the similarities and differences between R-410A and Opteon™ XL41 (R-454B). Many aspects of this transition will be explored including the system performance, pressure-temperature relationships, thermodynamic performance, flammability mitigations, temperature glide, oil compatibility, and more. An overview of A2L's in general, regulations, and best practices will be presented along with several new tools such as our free system performance tool, the Chemours Refrigerant Expert.
