Charles A. Vescoso, Jr. serves as Technical Editor for ATP and is responsible for editing and insuring technical accuracy of newly submitted and previously published manuscript for construction-related training material. His duties also include developing rough art, story boards, and scripts for further development by graphic artists and multimedia staff, maintaining knowledge of latest building techniques, building codes, safety regulations, materials, and equipment, and assisting in product development and marketing of instructional materials.
His career in construction has spanned almost 20 years. He has spent the last 8+ years with ATP but the first 13 years was spent as a union-trained commercial carpenter in Southeastern Michigan where he held several field supervision positions for multiple construction and exhibit contractors. He holds a B.S. in Written Technical Communication from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Project Management (Construction Management concentration) degree from Northwestern University. Prior to his construction career, he spent 4 years as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps.
