Jim Hughes is Manager of Technical Training for Service Experts.
He has been involved in the HVAC industry for nearly 40 years and spent most of the last 17 years in training.
His credentials include:
American Residential Services (ARS) - developed accelerated HVAC training programs and established Plumbing apprenticeship schools in Indiana and Ohio.
Clockwork Home Services (brand names are: One Hour, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Mister Sparky Electric as well as affinity groups Airtime 500, PSI, RSI, and ESI) - He would facilitate communication and sales training. It was at Clockwork's Expo where he had an opportunity to speak to groups ranging from 50 to 300 people.
Profit Assist - His own consulting firm, which had several articles published in the ACHR News most of which dealt with business management and coaching employees.
In his current role at Service Experts, he manages all technical training. During his time there, he has implemented a learning management system, built 3 field training centers and has a 4th on the schedule. He is currently working through the process of blending classroom and online training.
