Rich Benkowski is a Training Specialist with the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
He started his career with the United Association in Monaca, PA in 1976. He has participated locally as an instructor teaching: OSHA, Medical Gas, HVAC Systems and Controls, EPRI Advanced Rigging, Plumbing Codes & Installation, and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA).
Mr. Benkowski earned a Bachelor's Degree in Labor Education. He is currently work for the UA International Training Fund as a Training Specialist for the UA Training Department. His primary responsibilities include HVACR curriculum development and Sustainable Technology updates. He supports ITF efforts to create and develop curriculum using the latest technological advances such as 360°, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality.
His professional memberships include: ASHRAE and USGBC and he holds a current LEED AP credential.
