Accreditation

In 1999, HVAC Excellence established the

national standards for HVACR Educational

programs and began the process of

programmatic accreditation for the HVACR

industry. Programmatic accreditation is an

independent third party, non-governmental peer

review of an educational program against

established standards.

Nationally Established Standards

HVAC Excellence publishes a comprehensive

competency and task list to assist instructors in

providing their students with the knowledge and

skills necessary for employment in the HVACR

industry.

Stackable Credentials

No matter what stage a person is at in their

HVACR career, HVAC Excellence has the tools

to help them validate their knowledge to ensure

ongoing success. We offer different exams to

students, technicians and educators, enabling

them to identify if they need additional training or

are ready to move on to the next level.

Student Outcome Assessments

The Heating, Electrical, Air Conditioning,

Technology "H.E.A.T." student outcome

assessment programs enable instructors to

validate a secondary student’s readiness to

move on to the next level, and measure the

efficacy of the program.

Employment Ready Certifications

Employment Ready Certifications are discipline

specific end of course exams. They provide

instructors the tools to validate a person has the

retained knowledge in specific areas necessary

for employment in the HVACR industry.

Technician Certifications

When a person has documented field

experience, HVAC Excellence offers written and

hands-on technician certifications. These topical

exams provide employers evidence of a

technicians aptitude in specific areas.

Educator Credentialing

knowledge and ability to relate subject matter

effectively, HVAC Excellence offers specialized

educator credentialing exams.

Statistical Reports

analysis reports to enable instructors to evaluate

student performance as well as identify

strengths and weaknesses within their program.
