I would like to welcome you to the 2017 HVAC Excellence National HVACR Educators

and Trainers Conference.

With the assistance of a dedicated group of presenters, sponsors and exhibitors, we are

pleased to assemble a diverse program to meet the varied needs of those who attend.

This years conference will have a strong focus on ductless mini-split systems, variable

capacity systems, new refrigerants and refrigerant regulations, emerging technologies

and new delivery systems.

We pack a great deal of information into the short period allotted for general sessions. To ensure that you

receive a meal and the presenters on stage can be heard by all, we ask that everyone be seated in the

general session hall before the session begins. Please check the schedule for times of the four plated meals

and two express meal/coffee breaks.

The 2017 conference will feature over sixty sessions to choose from. Some sessions are offered twice, so

take a few minutes to review the program as you plan your schedule of events. In addition, a limited number

of classes will be offered in Spanish this year.

Attendees can earn continuing education units (CEU’s) by signing into classes they attend. Attendance

sheets will ask for a unique conference attendee number, located on your name badge. Each session lists

the number of CEU’s offered by participating in the session (1 CEU = 10 contact hours). Certificates will be

mailed to those who sign into sessions within 30 days of the conference closing. We encourage attendees to

stop at the registration desk and make certain we have the correct mailing address on file for you.

We know how valuable your time is and want to make certain we are providing classes that benefit you.

Please take the time to complete the course evaluation forms distributed at each breakout session. The

information in the evaluations will help us plan and develop future conferences.

To help you identify any areas where you may need professional development, discipline specific HVACR

educators credentialing exams will be offered free of charge.

The HVACR Exposition is your opportunity to learn about the latest in: equipment, educational trainers,

controls, software, curriculum, chemicals, tools, test instruments, career placement, and more. In addition,

the exhibiting companies made this conference possible for you. As they are here to support you, we hope

that you will visit them to find out how they can help you take your training to the next level. Listen for

announcements as some exhibitors will be giving some great prizes during the exposition. However, you

must be in the Exhibit Hall when your name is called to claim your prize and win!

Showcase your skills and have some fun during the Teachers-N-Trainers (TnT) Competition. TnT allows you

to compete in a series of time-based tasks, arranged in elimination stages.

To participate, make certain you

take part in the preliminary test on Monday evening. The results from this test will be tabulated and the top 20

contestants will compete in the hands-on portion of the competition.

Your admission to meals, sessions, exhibits, testing and the TnT is your

name badge and lanyard you

received at registration. Please make certain to wear this throughout the conference.

After the conference, some of the presentation materials and photographs will be posted for your viewing.

, click on the conference page and then archive.

I hope you enjoy all of the sessions and gain some great information to take back and share with your

students and peers.
