Ins and Outs of Humidity

This session will dive into the various attributes of humidity from both a psychrometric and application

viewpoint and why today's applications often fall short in the humidity control requirement. It will include how

air flow and coil temperature affects humidity removal as well as technologies used by manufacturers in

treating humidity.

CO2 Refrigeration: The Future of the HVACR & Supermarket Industry

Presented by: Andre Patenaude of Emerson Climate Technologies

This session will explore the regulatory need to move away from HFC refrigerants and discuss the benefits of

using carbon dioxide (CO2, R-744) as a natural refrigerant. Secondary Cascade and Booster Transcritical

Systems architecture will be discussed as well as the seven keys for servicing CO2 systems.

Gas Pipe Sizing

Presented by: Earl Delatte, CMHE, of HVAC Excellence

This session will introduce important basic concepts of gas piping design and practices. Gas piping is often

overlooked for any number of reasons and as such, some installations are terminally plagued with problems

that go unsolved. How improperly sized piping systems adversely affect appliance operation will also be

discussed as part of this important session.
