Ins and Outs of Humidity

Presented by: Jamie Kitchen of Danfoss

This session will dive into the various attributes of humidity from both a psychrometric and application

viewpoint and why today's applications often fall short in the humidity control requirement. It will include how

air flow and coil temperature affects humidity removal as well as technologies used by manufacturers in

treating humidity.

Floating Head Pressure Controls: New Technologies Bringing New Life to an Aging Concept

Presented by: Andre Patenaude of Emerson Climate Technologies

Floating head pressure is not a new concept, but its previous success was limited by the technologies

available at the time. The development of electronic expansion valves and other components brought with

them a new found interest in revisiting the strategy. This session will provide attendees with an overview of

the historic challenges, new energy-saving strategies and simple approaches to teaching this technology.
