Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks
Tom Grunstra, Fujitsu
The HVAC industry is reaching a critical stage in the need for educated and trained service
technicians who are "capable" to diagnose and service "high tech" equipment. The mentality of
many service technicians already in the field today keeps them from learning new skills. This
session will focus on training techniques required to bring students or technicians into training
and teach them using methods which provide context and application.
Programmatic Accreditation Awards
Coy Gibson, HVAC Excellence
HVACR Programmatic accreditation validates that established standards of excellence for HVACR
educational programs are met. Schools that were granted accreditation of their HVACR
programs during 2013 will be recognized on stage.
