Christopher Dymond is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the field of energy efficiency. Throughout his career, he has delivered numerous technical and non-technical presentations, showcasing his expertise in the industry. Christopher holds an undergraduate degree in engineering physics, which has equipped him with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of engineering. Additionally, he possesses a master's degree in building systems engineering, further enhancing his knowledge in the field. Over the course of his career, Christopher has primarily focused on residential shell and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, as well as solar energy systems. In the past four years, his focus has shifted towards residential heat pumps for space conditioning. Currently, Christopher is actively involved in his work for NEEA (Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance). His primary objective is to identify and select heat pumps that offer superior energy savings with minimal to no additional cost. This valuable knowledge is being utilized to shape tax credit policies, establish EPA ENERGY STAR criteria, guide utility program incentives, and contribute to federal test procedures in the industry. Christopher's efforts play a vital role in promoting energy-efficient solutions and advancing the adoption of sustainable technologies.
