Matt Akins is the Manager of HVACR Education at the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA). With over two decades of diverse HVAC industry experience, he brings practical knowledge and managerial insight to his teaching approach. Having progressed from an installer to roles such as service technician, field supervisor, and operations manager, Matt has gained firsthand understanding of the industry. In his current role, he delivers and develops educational content, conducting both in-person and online classes that are accessible and engaging. Simultaneously, he contributes to evolving course curricula to ensure they remain up to date with industry advancements.
