Michael Sumner is a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and a passion for training and development. Over the past seven years, he has honed his training expertise in various roles at The Connor Group and MAXX Properties, where he made a significant impact on teams and individuals. During Michael's time at The Connor Group, he served as a Regional Trainer, responsible for training teams in key locations such as Chicago, Minneapolis, Austin, and Denver. In this role, he conducted comprehensive training sessions, covering a wide range of topics related to the company's operations and objectives. From hands-on physical training to delivering complex PowerPoint presentations, he ensured that the teams received the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles. For the past two years, Michael has been the National Trainer at MAXX Properties, a position that has allowed him to showcase his expertise on a larger scale. In this role, he delivers multiple training sessions each week, catering to different audiences ranging from one-on-one sessions to groups of 20 or more. Furthermore, Mr. Sumner has actively participated in industry events and conferences, such as the Denver Apartment Association trade shows and Maintenance Mania. At these events, he has presented to groups ranging from 30 to 75 individuals on various topics, including electrical systems, effective teaching methods, training programs, and HVAC changeovers and phase-outs. These opportunities have allowed Michael to share his expertise with a wider audience and establish himself as a respected speaker and trainer in the field.
