Tom Grunstra

Tom Grunstra is the Director of Training for Fujitsu General America, where he leads a team of content builders and instructors. An industry professional with 35 years in the mechanical trades, his history is not limited to the HVAC industry as he has been involved in building maintenance and industrial laundry & dry-cleaning equipment manufacturing and service. His journey in the HVAC industry began with riding as an apprentice in the service trucks of a large, full service residential and commercial company. His experience ranges from small residential splits, rooftop package equipment and up to 400-ton chillers, central station air handlers, direct fired make-up air units. Tom holds certifications for servicing natural gas, propane, fuel oil equipment as well as heat pumps including variable speed DC technology. Tom has served as, technician, service manager, salesman, sales manager and trainer.
