Uniting the HVACR Industry Around Education
HVAC Excellence is pleased to announce that exhibit space for the 2013 National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference has sold out.
It is great to see so many manufactures and industry leading groups supporting education in the HVACR industry, as the United States Department of Labor has forecast the HVACR industry to be one of the fastest growing industries in the years to come.
HVACR Education is the key to:
* A better trained workforce
* Reducing warranty cost
* Reducing call backs
* Reducing the energy impact of HVACR equipment
These are jobs that cannot be automated or exported and they must be done on American soil.
With implementation of green and smart technologies, the industry has rapidly changed. For HVACR programs to provide relevant training that leads to employment, HVACR educators need to attend professional development programs on an annual basis.
In order for HVACR educators to keep current on technological changes, code changes and better teaching techniques, HVAC Excellence created an annual train the trainer event - The National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference.

The time is now to unite the industry - manufacturers, wholesalers, contractors, associations and the like, and shift our focus to supporting the piece of the puzzle which lays the foundation for our future workforce: ensuring educators and trainers are properly equipped with the tools and knowledge to educate the next generation.
The 2013 HVAC Excellence Educators and Trainers Conference will be held March 17-20, 2013 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The hotel offers luxury rooms at affordable prices. Additionally, the self contained venue offers an event center, a dozen restaurants, movie theaters, bowling, spa, casino, and a free shuttle service to and from McCarran Airport, and a great deal more. Rooms are available for $58.00 per night for the nights of the conference through February 12th or the block sells out.
The conference will offer a large number of sessions - lecture and hands-on that lead us to a more sustainable future. Additionally, the conference has nearly 80 industry exhibits for attendees to learn about the latest in equipment, trainers, simulators, tools, test instruments and curriculum.
Attendees will have the opportunity to stay an additional day to learn about Energy Auditing and building Science. This special two part, thirteen hour program will begin on Tuesday March 19th and finish on Wednesday March 20th. This session will aide attendees in developing an understanding of the energy audit process and the educational requirements for energy auditor training.
